Category Archives: Support Israel

Let your Love shine–let it flow out of your heart for Israel!

We stand on the threshold of the end of days, as we know them.  In a time, the importance of standing with Israel and the Jewish people is unmistakably real.  Not too long ago before Israel became a nation in 1948, the Jewish people lived among the nations scattered by God as part of His ultimate plan for man.  In our lifetime, we have witnessed the preservation of the Jewish people from annihilation and witnessed their return to the land of Israel.

For centuries, we have read in the Bible of the Jews return to the Land of Israel. Yet we are the ones privileged to be alive to witness this miracle. “Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him as a shepherd does his flock.  For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of one stronger than he. Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, Streaming to the goodness of the Lord—for wheat and new wine and oil, for the young of the flock and the herd; their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, and they shall sorrow no more at all.”  (Jeremiah 31:10-12)

We have witnessed nations argue among themselves as to the right of the Jews to live in their land.  We have watch threats and attacks from theirs neighbors and the rise of anti-semitism throughout the world–yet they stand. It has now been sixty-seven (67) years that Israel has been self-governed and able to protect the Jewish people themselves.  Many enemies threaten to drive Israel into the sea but God’s promise to the Jewish people rings loud and clear now and throughout eternity.  His promise is that never again would Israel be up-rooted from the land of Israel. “I will I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them,” Says the Lord your God.” (Amos 9:15).

In these end of days, Christians and Jews alike watch for the Messiah. Christian watch for His return and the Jewish people watch for His arrival. The key point is that those of us, who believe, believe the Messiah is coming!  When He comes on that day, His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives physically returning to the land of Israel and to the people of His birth. It shall happen in that day; the Lord shall be King over all the earth: In that day it shall be—“The Lord is one,” and His Name one. Today we passionately watch and faithfully pray standing side-by-side with our Jewish brothers and sisters; the people God chose to bring His Word to the world.

We live in the days that this scripture is being fulfilled before our eyes, “Many nations shall come and say, ‘Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.’ For out of Zion the law shall go forth, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.” (Micah 4:2)

We have a heart for Israel and the Jewish people because we have a heart for God.  Our Heavenly Father’s Love endures forever and though we His people may be faithless, He remains Faithful—for He cannot deny Himself.  “Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.” (Psalm 36:5)

Straight from the Founder’s heart…

Dear Lovers of Israel,

I am writing to you from along the Gaza boarder in Southern Israel.  Truth about Hamas has been weighing heavily on my heart, like a rock, and truth needs to be shared with all Lovers of Israel.  “Adonai Elohim has given me the ability to speak as a man well taught, so that I, with my words, know how to sustain the weary. Each morning he awakens my ear to hear like those who are taught.” (Isaiah 50:4)

Israel has been at war against the Hamas Palestinian militant Islamist terror organization for the last 17 days defending the Israeli population from over 2,141 rockets and missiles that have been fired over the entire land of Israel.  Israel has discovered and destroyed over 31 terror tunnels that were built by Hamas for the purpose of attacking, killing and kidnapping Israeli citizens and soldiers.  As of this letter, Israel has lost 34 brave soldiers and 3 civilians in this war against terrorism.  We pray for the souls of those lost and we bless their memory.

It is heavy on my heart to share with you the ‘money-making-machine’ Hamas is running.  Hamas’ leaders know they will never be able to destroy Israel or “wipe it off the map’ as they have declared for decades.  Therefore, they have invented a “startup” in which they are making hundreds of millions of dollars in personal wealth and profit.  Dear Lovers of Israel, it is all about the money they make while creating tragedy after tragedy to the Palestinian people in Gaza. (“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.” 1 Timothy 6:10a)

Let me explain to you how it works.  Qatar is one of the richest countries in the world for its size with $213.1 billion GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and $102,100 GDP per capita ranking it the highest income per capita in the world.  Qatar’s population is roughly 2.1 million people of which 1.85 million are the servants of the estimated 278,000 Qatar citizens.  Qatar sits on one of the largest oil reserves in the world and grosses $200 billion per year with their oil and gas revenues and continues to expand their natural-gas production.  Moreover, Qatar is the spiritual father of all Jihad movements including Hamas, Jihad Muslim Brotherhood and even ISSI currently moving through Iraq and Syria.  Qatar has wired about $300-$400 million dollars every year to support Hamas.  The money goes first to the Hamas Chairman, Haled Mashaal, who takes his cut of the deal.  It is being reported that Haled Mashaal has made between two to three billion dollars personally along with other Hamas leaders making millions on their commissions.  This continuous funding is the fuel of the Hamas terror organization which allows them to spend annually huge amounts of money into building rockets, buying ammunition and constructing hundreds of tunnels in the middle of civilian populations.  Hamas’ goal in their build-up of weaponry is to send thousands of terrorists to invade Israel and take Israel down from within.  This is their “vision.”

This is all happening while 2 million Palestinians in Gaza are suffering earning only $3 per day average income and more than a 40% unemployment rate.  However, Hamas has captured Gaza’s civilian population and have forced a large part of them to cooperate with their goals.  The Palestinian people in Gaza remember all to well when Hamas took control of Gaza June 2007.  Hamas targeted civilians and would detain, interrogate, torture, shoot, beat savagely, break bones, and threw people off buildings if they did not support Hamas’ cause.  Hamas also plundered trucks of humanitarian aid shipped to Gaza earmarked for the people and would not distribute the food or supplies to anyone who did not support Hamas.  Hamas literally turned Gaza schools, mosques, and all universities into centers of detention for those that opposed them.  (“…those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.” Hebrews 2:15)

Can you imagine how many hospitals, schools and condominiums could have been built with the cement used to build the terror attack tunnels into Israel?  This is almost beyond belief that the world cannot understand and they continue to refuse to see the full picture of how Hamas is destroying Gaza and its people.  Hamas is simply a cruel terror organization which has become a ‘money-making-machine’; it really is as simple as that.

The world is still sleepwalking in regard to Hamas who rules Gaza and the Nation of Israel.  Today, I can assure you with more than 50 million Muslims in Europe there are many who are ready to move to the next stage in their worldwide goal of Jihad.  This battle is no longer about the future of Israel alone but it is about the future of all free nations and mankind.

Please take time out of your daily life to prayer for Israel and pray like King David, a man after God’s own hear, “Now I call on you, God, for you will answer me. Turn your ear to me, hear my words. Show how wonderful is your grace, savior of those who seek at your right hand refuge from their foes.  Protect me like the pupil of your eye, hide me in the shadow of your wings from the wicked, who are assailing me, from my deadly enemies, who are all around me.  They close their hearts to compassion; they speak arrogantly with their mouths; they track me down, they surround me; they watch for a chance to bring me to the ground.  They are like lions eager to tear the prey, like young lions crouching in ambush. Arise, Adonai, confront them! Bring them down! With your sword deliver me from the wicked, with your hand, Adonai, from human beings, from people whose portion in life is this world.”  (Psalm 17:6-14)

I trust you will stand with Israel more than ever before.  Continue to pray for Israeli soldiers to return home safe and pray for Israel to prevail on behalf of all mankind.

God Bless you ALL from God’s Holy Land promised to Israel. (Genesis 12:2-3)

Shabbat Shalom,

Israel’s Perpetual Covenant…

Dear Lovers of Israel,

I write to you from Tel Aviv, Israel, from under a shower of Hamas missiles as Hamas continues to attack Israeli cities and citizens.  We hear sirens all over Israel, day and night, as Hamas (recognized as a terror organization by the United States government) continues its attacks on innocent citizens and children with no apparent regret.  They aim rockets toward Israeli civilian centers, homes and schools and their goal is to kill as many Jews as possible, no matter the cost or tragedy that befalls the Palestinian people.

Hamas regularly launches their rockets from daycare centers and other places where innocent Palestinians families and children live and use those same locations for storage and rocket factories.  How can they do this to their own people?  It is because terror groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah and other members of the Al-Qaeda network are not parties to the Geneva Conventions.  The bloody attacks in places such as New York, Jerusalem, Bali, Madrid and other cities show that their main motive is to kill civilians.  Hamas uses civilians, including children, as human shields and the harm that comes to these human shields is only the fault of Hamas.  Hamas builds their military operations in the midst of innocent civilian communities, actions that the world calls war crimes.  However, since Hamas does not accept the rules of the Geneva Conventions, it does not acknowledge its own actions as crimes.

Understand that the problem of Hamas’ violent hatred toward Israel does not stem from the previous military conflicts of 1967 or 2012.  Hamas’ problem with Israel came the moment the State of Israel was born in 1948, making this problem unsolvable unless their weapon arsenals are destroyed and their hatred toward Israel and the Jewish people is removed. It has now been roughly thirteen years that Hamas has been shooting rockets into Israel and Israelis today again are living under continuous ruthless attacks while the world in its silence demonstrates their lack of concern toward Israel or its people.

Did you know, and can you imagine, that the Palestinian Authority has not paid a debt of $40 million dollars for the consumption of electricity power used by Gaza residents.  Yet, because of humanitarian considerations, Israel does not disconnect Gaza residents from their electrical power that they receive from Israel.  Israel does not want to add any more suffering to the Palestinians living there.  The funds that pour into Gaza could build their future but instead the funds are used to build their rockets.  Nevertheless, Hamas continues to try and kill the children of Israel.

There are many theories about Israel being a Goliath and a “force who invades Palestinian land.”  It can be discouraging to hear such words of hatred thrown out in the world.  Those of us who read the Bible, and know what it says regarding who gave Israel the land, stand firm in our faith and strong in our love for Israel and God’s Word.  I do believe in the power of prayer and in God’s Word and I personally have full confidence in the Israeli Army to solve this problem and to bring peace back to our area.

Today, I call upon you to pray for Israel and take a strong stand with her through these difficult days ahead.  Join me in my prayers for protection and strength for our Israeli soldiers as they fight against evil and death.  Continue to stand with Israel more than ever before, don’t stop being Lovers of Israel, for we know that Israel will prevail because God is on our side.  He is faithful to Israel and will be forever.  “The Lord appeared from of old to me [Israel], saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness have I drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.”  (Jeremiah 31:3)

Therefore, this Sabbath like every Sabbath, we gather to celebrate Shabbat and in keeping this commandment, we are reminded weekly of God’s faithfulness and His everlasting love toward the children of Israel. “Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.  It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.”  (Exodus 31:16-17)

Shalom, Shalom to you all!

Love Israel Message from the Founder: June 2014

My Dear Lovers of Israel,

I am writing to you who Love Israel from Jerusalem, the Eternal Capital of the Jewish people that will never be separated from the Jewish people or divided again.

The Jewish People will celebrate the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot in Hebrew); the Feast of Shavuot commemorates the anniversary of the day when God gave the Torah to the entire Nation of Israel that gathered at Mount Sinai.  The miracles that happened to the Jewish nation are wonderful.  The People of Israel were freed from slavery to Pharaoh the King of Egypt on Passover and were given the Torah on Shavuot and when we became a nation committed to serving God.  The greatest miracle is that this holiday is being celebrated only a few weeks after the 66th Independence Day of Israel.  Today, the Jewish People are now back home in their eternal homeland after 2,000 years of exile!

“I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.” Our feet are standing in your gates, Jerusalem. Jerusalem is built like a city that is closely compacted together. That is where the tribes go up—the tribes of the Lord—to praise the name of the Lord according to the statute given to Israel.  There stand the thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.  Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” For the sake of my family and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.” For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your prosperity.” Psalm 122

In addition to the significance as the day the Word of God was revealed to the Jewish Nation at Mount Sinai, Shavuot is also connected to the season of the grain harvest in Israel.  The Feast of Firstfruits were first instituted while Israel was still wandering without land or crops and was observed in Faith that God would lead His people to the land He had promised.  The harvest which began at Passover lasts for 7 weeks and concludes on Shavuot with 2 bread loafs from the Harvest and is offered at the Temple in Jerusalem (Deuteronomy 26:1-11). Shavuot is also the First day on which an individual can bring their Firstfruit offering (Bikkurim in Hebrew) to the Temple and present it to the Priest (Cohen in Hebrew).

“Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.” (Proverbs 3:9-10)

For those of you who LOVE Israel and stand with her, I call upon you to make a pledge, your individual Gift of LOVE—your Bikkurim—a Firstfruit offering toward Israel that would express your First Gift of Love towards Israel.  Your Firstfuits offering Your “Gift of Love” demonstrates your Love as you plant Hope and Blessings in Israel which would bring Blessings 10 fold or more to you. It does not matter what you do for Israel, just DO SOMETHING, and you will be blessed above and beyond!  You can plant an olive tree, you can support Holocaust survivors or sick children or you can join any other program or organization that offers beautiful and meaningful projects.  You just need to listen to your heart and DO SOMETHING so you can say I stand with Israel and Bless her.

“On the First day of every week, each of you should take some of your money and put it in a special place. Save up as much as you can from what you are blessed with. Then you will not have to gather it all after I come.” (1 Corinthians 16:2)

On this Feast of Shavuot, it is my pleasure to share with you that children are playing in the streets of Jerusalem exactly as the Bible prophesied.  The people of Israel are growing larger and stronger with each passing minute, each and every day.  Israel will prevail against all threats and the bad winds that are blowing in our region.  God is with the Jewish People and you the Lovers of Israel are with the Jewish People and therefore God is forever with you.

“This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Once again old men and women will walk Jerusalem’s streets with their canes and will sit together in the city squares.  And the streets of the city will be filled with boys and girls at play.” (Zechariah 8:4-5)

I bless you with the traditional beautiful Jewish prayer to shine upon you and yours: “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His Face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you Peace.” (Numbers 6:24-26)

Blessings from Jerusalem!

Message from the Founder: February 2014

Dear Lovers of Israel,

Greetings, having just returned from the annual NRB (National Religious Broadcast) convention in Nashville, TN and I am still excited with the flowing amounts of Love and loyalty expressed towards my beloved Country Israel.  In times like this when Israel is becoming more isolated than ever before as world leadership keeps refusing to listen to the evil threats and prefers to ignore risks and the sounds of war drums coming from Iran and its allies.  Times like this would bring out the best of each and every Lover of Israel around the world.

As it is written in the Holy Bible, “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem…“ (Psalm 122:6), “Because I love Zion, I will not keep still. Because my heart yearns for Jerusalem, I cannot remain silent…” (Psalm 62:1).  These scriptures are more relevant than ever before.  Speak them aloud when you pray, these strong Biblical verses will rise to heaven from your heart to God’s ear filled with your Love for Israel.

Standing with Israel in these days and times means to stand “in Israel,” therefore I encourage all of you to take a step forward and become involved in this great Holy land.  Come, visit Israel, and with your Bible in-hand get ready for a life experience that would change your life forever.  As we say in Israel, “You’ll never be the same” after you visit Israel and stand on God’s Holy ground.  So until you come to visit Israel you can join our ever-growing partners of LoveIsrael and you too can become a “Lover of Israel” yourself.  You can plant an olive tree in Israel as part of the prophetic “grafted in” vision or partner with LoveIsrael in one of the other great beautiful projects such as the children of “Larger than Life” or with Holocaust survivors through “Survivor’s Hope.”  Furthermore, I encourage you to faithfully watch “Israel Now News” and let the TRUTH come into your home directly from Jerusalem is relatively a young non-profit organization with small assets but we have huge hearts for Israel.  Our beautiful projects are the most captivating projects that support Israel and the Jewish people where the need can impact the hearts of the Jewish people by touching their individual lives.  We have no political agenda as we our desire and motivation is Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt.  All the families on earth will be blessed through you.”  God’s Word concerning Israel is the torch lamp that lights our path in blessing Israel as it is written in our Holy Bible, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105).

These are difficult times for Israel in European countries (countries who have forgotten the holocaust decades ago) where they are standing-in-line with the innovative idea on how to boycott Israel in an effort to hurt Israel financially.  Iran has set a trap with the United States and the entire world by taking advantage of the current American administration’s weakness and the P5+1 group as Iran portrays itself to be the “good guy” who seeks peace.  Yet, Hezbollah and Hamas are continually threatening Israel with more than 200,000 rockets and missiles standing eagerly ready to bomb Israeli cities and civilians.  The civil war in Syria has taken the lives of more than 150,000 citizens mostly murdered by the Assad regime and still the world keeps silent even when about one in 10 who have died are children: this is ridiculously.  IF you are a true Lover of Israel, a believer of the Bible and are strong in your heart toward these truths, you should stand up for Israel and say, “enough.”  The best way to stop this evil is to not only speak the Truth but to do something for Israel.  As you bless Israel God’s greater blessing will rest upon you and your family.

Dear sisters and brothers, join us in our journey to support the State of Israel as together we fulfill Biblical prophecy.  Stand with Israel, ask your family and friends to show their support by doing something for Israel and spread the Truth as you share your LOVE for Israel with everyone you talk with and meet.  United together in our mutual love for Israel we can make this world a better place to live in while we await the Messiah’s return.

Stand with Israel and I promise you this world will get better…!!!!

Blessings from Jerusalem,

The Common Values Between Christians and Jews

Jews and Christians share many of the same ethical and social values and both love the Word of God, which creates a unity that is a source of blessing. A few values unique to the Judeo-Christian faith includes loving one’s neighbor, giving to the poor, tithing, a universal responsibility for humanity, the value of historical continuity, preservation of life and praying to God for divine assistance. There is a clear difference between Christians and Jews but gaining understanding of what we both share in common helps give us both gain a fresh and strong perspective to build unity in a broken and dying world.

Love your neighbor is a commandment given to both Christians and Jews. The Ten Commandments states its importance as do many other places in the Bible. The most important passage for Jews in the Torah is Leviticus 19:18, “You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.” This was a direct commandment from the Lord, and one that is taken very serious by all Jews. The New Testament is filled with verses referring to love and loving your neighbor. In Matthew 22:36-40 Jesus directly answers one of his disciples who asked a question, “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And Jesus said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.” Jesus was quoting from the Old Testament and bringing to life the power of love.

To love your neighbor is THE second most important commandment. To love your neighbor is to care for those around you, to be positive, to not judge and to help when you can, especially if you see your neighbor struggling. It simply means to genuinely do good to those around from a pure heart. It is a call from the heart of God to love a person regardless of their belief or actions. As easy as it sounds, to love is one of life’s most difficult demands for mankind. To love the other person or nation, regardless of how they think or what they believe in and even sometimes how they treat you is the struggle in life we all face. The importance of this commandment is clear, but how can we live it out? Would not our faith and love grow stronger if we were to look at what unites us rather than what divides us?

Tithing and caring for the poor is also an important commandment and biblical value that both Christians and Jews believe and work-to-practice in their everyday lives. It is known as “Gemilut Hasadim” which means giving kindness. Acts of kindness or “chesed” includes many different ways of helping those in need. In terms of monetary giving or “Tsedakah” many give about 10% of their earnings to the poor. It is a “mitzvah,” or a commandment to the Jews to give to the poor, as it states, “you will surely open your hand to your poor brother.” In like-kind Christians are commanded to give to the poor and pay tithes of 10%. The belief in tithing for Christians and Jews goes all the way back to Genesis when Abraham conquered the four kings and offered Melchizedek, the King of Righteousness, one tenth of the spoil.

Jews and Christians have another common practice and that is praying to God for divine assistance. Christians and Jews both believe that God can intervene and change circumstances. Both Jews and Christians pray to God for healing, relief from suffering, for food and shelter, for provisions and protection. There are many Biblical scriptures used in prayer by both Christians and Jews which unites them together on common ground through prayer. The one prayer both Jews and Christians pray is regarding Israel and Jerusalem. The prophet Isaiah writes in chapter 41:11-12, “Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all.”

Israel, and it’s heart, Jerusalem, are believed to be the place where God’s presence dwells. The most important city in the world for God, Jews, Christians and for thousands of years has been in the center of history. When Christians join together with Jews in united prayer to God and lift Israel and the Jewish people and both are praying for the peace of Jerusalem, God will prevail. The divine way for Christians and Jews to stand in unity with Israel and the Jewish people is through prayer. There are no barriers when we stand united praying for Israel’s protection, praying for its people and praying for the peace of Jerusalem.

Christians and Jews in more ways than not share common values, and common beliefs. Understanding each other leaves room to do good in this world by our commitment to take action to make a difference. Praying for each other and our neighbors, showing God-like attitudes and loving others is required of Christians and Jews by God. As is praying for the peace of Jerusalem which is our divine link that connects us both Jew and Christian to God’s blessing.

Together, Christians and Jews can help each other and make a difference by loving, giving and praying. May the year 2014 be a year of good as we commit to working together to bring unity to the world around us.
