“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,”
says the Lord, who has mercy on you.” (Isaiah 54:10)

Creative Power of God’s Word

Behold His Loving-kindness, His creative power, His ability to create something out-of-nothing, then ponder His approval, His affirmation, His sustaining power over all He created. In the beginning, He spoke and His Breathe released His Word. This same creative force is a part of His creation, for humanity possesses the ability to speak-and-release words. Words are containers and every letter or syllable spoken released by our breathe releases whatever His word contains. “The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born.” (Psalm 33:6)

The Hebrew word ‘chesed’ is Loving-Kindness and is the word that best describes Hashem’s unfailing love for His chosen, Israel. This one word holds Hashem’s heart-response and covenant position toward Israel over the thousands of years of their relationship. Hashem’s loving-kindness (chesed) toward His people Israel passes all human understanding.

“For the mountains may move and the hills disappear, but even then my faithful love for you will remain. My covenant of blessing will never be broken,”
says the Lord, who has mercy on you.” (Isaiah 54:10)

“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)
