"I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3)

Eternal Abrahamic Covenant – LoveIsrael

Abraham’s first act of obedience led the way to his eternal Covenant when he obeyed God when He said to him, “Get yourself out of your country, away from your kinsmen and away from your father’s house, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you are to be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3). CJB

God’s covenant relationship with Abraham ratified by God Himself (Genesis 15) makes it unconditional and eternal.  When the sun had gone down and a [deep] darkness had come, there appeared a smoking  brazier and a flaming torch which passed between the [divided] pieces [of the animals]. On the same day the Lord made a covenant (promise, pledge) with Abram, saying, “To your descendants I have given this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates—[the land of] the Kenites and the Kenizzites and the Kadmonites and the Hittites and the Perizzites and the Rephaim, the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Girgashites and the Jebusites.” (Genesis 15:17-21)

We know it was by faith Abraham obeyed and dwelt in the land of promise and it is by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that the things, which are seen, were not made of things, which are visible and we know Abraham was looking forward to the city with permanent foundations, of which the architect and builder is God. (Hebrews 11:3, 8-10)

“…without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
