"For who is greater? The one reclining at the table? or the one who serves?
It’s the one reclining at the table, isn’t it?
But I myself am among you like one who serves."
(Luke 22:27) CJB

Dear Lovers of Israel,
Greetings from Jerusalem, it is in my heart to share with you a deeper understanding of the Biblical promises attached to blessing Israel and the Jewish people. Let us start by imagining our Holy Bible as a menu where we choose what we want for our meal. Our level of faith is dependent on our choices. Increasing our trust in His Word and our willingness to obey His Word is a daily life-long experience. God’s Word is food for our soul and holds within itself the power to bring to pass every promise according to His intended purpose. Allow me to share these three scriptural truths that will change your life forever.

The first truth is “I will bless those who bless you….and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3) We simply believe God will bless those who bless Israel. We need to believe (have faith) in God’s Word for it was by faith the worlds were framed and it was by faith Abraham obeyed and put his trust in God’s Word that caused him to inherit the promises. This promise of blessing is an eternal perpetual blessing pouring over whoever blesses Israel.

The second truth is “Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem, may they prosper who love you.” (Psalm 122:6). The Land of Israel has been home to the Jewish people for over 4,000 years with Jerusalem as its capital; and is the place where King Solomon built God’s Temple and the place where God chose to place His Name forever. Jerusalem is the one place Jews have longed to return after exile for thousands of years. Jewish tradition says, “Those who long to see Jerusalem’s glory are called her lovers.” When a Lover of Israel prays for the peace of Jerusalem, blessed with prosperity their prayers bless both the city of Jerusalem and the Jewish people.

The third truth is “I have set watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night….” (Isaiah 62:6-7) These Lovers of Israel never fall silent and give Him no rest – obedient to His call. The Bible teaches us that faith without actions is dead. To stand strong with Israel and be a watchmen on the walls of Jerusalem (God’s boots on the ground), it requires obedience to God’s Holy Spirit. A watchmen is committed and actively involved in supporting Israel and the Jewish people. Watchmen speak words of faith and combine them with acts of love for a powerful spiritual force.

We are living in chaotic days, witnessing dramas and bloodshed as darkness unfolds its attempts to tear nations and communities apart. I encourage you to live by faith, pray and obey His Word adopting these three scriptures into your daily meal plan and watch and see the Goodness of God flow into your life in the presence of your enemies. TRUST GOD every step along the way.

My dear Lovers of Israel, I am among you as one who serves (Luke 22:27), connecting you directly with the Land of Israel and the Jewish people. As we continue building our strong bridge together, Christians and Jews, we stand firm on a bridge constructed on the foundation of His Word and His unfailing Love.

Blessings to you and yours from Jerusalem.

Shalom Shalom,
