Message from the Founder – March 2017
Dear Lovers of Israel,
Greetings from Jerusalem, the eternal undivided City of God. I am so proud and excited to write to you today launching our first newsletter today to thousands of members of LoveIsrael by email, including 500,000 followers of LoveIsrael Ministry around the world. God established LOVEISRAEL through me, his servant, with His blessing and His Guidance back in 2013. LOVEISRAEL created as a new movement to bring Christian Lovers of Israel to connect them directly with Israel to learn more about the Holy Land and its Jewish people.
In connecting to LOVEISRAEL, your understanding of the fullness of these scriptures, which are the foundational scriptures of the LOVEISRAEL movement:
- The significance of being a watchman on the walls of Jerusalem. “I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent, and give Him no rest till He establishes and till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” (Isaiah 62:6-7)
- The responsibility we are given to Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you.” (Psalm 122:6)
Finally, the most important facet of our lives,
- The promise of our harvest (the blessing). “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3)
As we enter the Jewish calendar month of Adar, we enter a month of great joy! This month we celebrate Purim, a celebration of historical record of the deliverance of the Jewish people from death as found in the Book of Esther (Scroll of Esther). The Scroll of Esther is part of the hamesh megillot (five scrolls) which are the five shortest books of the last of the three major divisions of the Old Testament: the Law, the Prophets and the Kethubim (writings). There are only two books in the Bible where God’s Name is not mentioned: Esther and Song of Solomon. In the Scroll of Esther God demonstrates that there is no such thing as “coincidence” as He is sovereign over the outcome of chance. “The lot is cast into the lap, but is every decision is from the Lord” (Proverbs 16:33). Through the miracle of Purim, light and great joy are victorious over the destruction of darkness. I bless you with the Jewish blessing of Adar, may you be blessed with the fruitfulness of great joy as our Jewish Sages say, “When Adar arrives, we increase our joy.”
I want to call upon every one of you to spread the great news of LOVEISRAEL Ministry and I ask you kindly that each one of you, as an Ambassador for Israel, would bring their family and friends to join us. Anti-Semitism, a spirit of Haman that seeks to destroy the Jewish people, is on the rise throughout the world today including the United States who has seen a sharp rise in attacks against the Jewish people and their communities. Lovers of Israel we are the front-line defenders against anti-Semitism in our world.
LoveIsrael Ministry is growing under God’s wings of protection and His Blessing I want to personally thank you for being a part. It is within my heart to celebrate 1,000,000 members of LoveIsrael Ministry on Israel’s 70th Independence Day in 2018. I ask for each one of you to join me in praying LoveIsrael reaches this goal and that you support LoveIsrael’s mission through our projects in the Land of Israel: plant an olive tree in Israel, help bring hope to Holocaust Survivors, bring love to life in children sick with cancer or support vision for Israeli soldiers.
I cover you and your loved ones with prayers and I look forward to hosting you soon in Israel as my personal-friend on the LoveIsrael “Then and Now” Tours in 2017. Always remember, “I am the one who serves among you…” for my heart full of faith and covered by God’s Grace, I serve you, Lovers of Israel here in Israel. I prayer that together we will bring millions of hearts to LOVE ISRAEL and we will stand strong in faith for Biblical prophecy and for the fulfillment of His Word. Until next month…
God bless you from Jerusalem – Shalom Shalom!
