Founder’s Message “Prayer Call”
Dear Lovers of Israel,
I am writing to you from Jerusalem, the City of God, never to be divided again. We are in the Jewish month of Elul and only a few weeks from the Jewish New Year and according to Jewish belief it is a time “The King is in the field.” King’s reside within the walls of their royal palace and an audience with him must be held within his throne room adhering to strict royal protocol. During the month of Elul, on our sacred calendar, it is believed that the king leaves his palace to enter the fields outside the palace. Anyone can approach him and he receives and welcomes them all, even peasants, making this a time when the king is nearest his people.
We are living in dramatic days and some would say the END OF DAYS as we know it, where chaos is the ruler on earth as human evil and natural disasters shake our world. This is all a result of mankind’s sinful nature.
Millions of people are starving to death in Africa and others are being murdered in places such as Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Nigeria, Myanmar and Ukraine. This bloodshed is sign of human evil and brutality that shows no mercy or grace for life (Proverbs 21:10).
In addition to human destruction we are facing natural disasters in so many various places. In the last few weeks we have witnessed nature’s disruption under the weight of mankind’s sin. Typhoons in India, record breaking hurricanes in Houston with one headed to Florida after it leveled parts of the Caribbean Islands as Mexico was hit by an earthquake – the strongest they have experienced in 100 years.
My heart goes out to all the victims and survivors and I ask that you continue with me in prayer for their full recovery as they rebuild lives, homes and infra-structures in their communities. My dear Lovers of Israel, it is clear to me that in these last days we are facing a “last call” as mankind spirals downward perpetuating evil and showing no mercy for life.
There is only one solution that would pave the way for humanity to turn-away from sin and turn-toward God and this would be our united prayer and obedience to His Word. It would open doors for peace where is there is chaos and reconciliation where there is division.
Humanities first step toward reconciliation is to believe God’s Word and which includes blessing Israel. As it has been from the beginning, a provision was made for people everywhere to receive His blessings. (Genesis 12:3). It is a divine window that opens and pours prosperity into a person’s life, family and nation. What would usher peace into our world is brothers dwelling in unity, especially Christians and Jews. We can see the results of this powerful covenant in Psalm 133. “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity…” for it is “…there the LORD commanded the blessing—life forever.”
Thank you for staying connected and joining with me in prayer. Together we are creating effectual prayers that will put into motion a divine force that can move around the world helping to heal us all. (James 5:16) “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies…” (Psalm 103:2-4)
Blessings upon you and yours—Shabbat Shalom!
