At the southern tip at the Sea of Galilee, where the Jordan River flows, sits The Yardenit: an historically celebrated Christian baptismal site in Israel, welcoming more than 900,000 pilgrims annually for 40+ years. These sacred waters where John the Baptist baptized his cousin, Jesus the Christ, are hallowed ground. That is why the opportunity to create the Prayer Garden at Yardenit has begun — a serene biblical site dedicated to prayer, reflection, and symbolism in the unification of Christians and Jews.
